The people walking in darkness
    have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
    a light has dawned. (Isaiah 9:2, NIV)

We are called to reach out to our community not only to meet physical needs – although we are to do that – but also to meet spiritual needs.  The greatest need that anyone has – young, old, rich, poor, – is to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.  This need is the common ground on which we all walk.  If you know Him this Christmas, you have all you need to be able to share that hope with someone else.

Prayer focus – Ask God to prepare your heart and mind to share Christ with someone this Christmas season, particularly as we prepare for “A Colony Family Christmas.”  Be ready to share the hope that we have in Christ with the people you will meet.
